DEATH COACHING

An intimate exploration into the art of mortality awareness, guided by thanatologist and cultural thinker Ruby Cohen Love. Through thanatology—the study of death as part of life—these private sessions transcend traditional approaches to death and loss, creating space for both profound introspection and intentional living.
Through a considered methodology that draws from thanatology and contemporary culture, participants explore their relationship with mortality – from deeply held fears to transformative awareness.
The journey encompasses:
• The Architecture of Loss – examining both physical death and the subtle endings that shape our narrative
• Legacy Design – curating the objects, stories, and experiences that outline our existence
• Fear as Gateway – transforming death anxiety into a catalyst for authentic living
• The Art of Preparedness – approaching mortality as a framework for living deliberately
Our work acknowledges that death and loss take many forms in our lives - from the end of relationships and careers to the loss of abilities, dreams, or expectations. Whether processing the loss of a pet, navigating divorce, confronting childlessness, or facing professional transitions, these "smaller deaths" shape our understanding of mortality and living.
We also explore Hoelter's eight dimensions of death awareness, from fear of the dying process to transforming death anxiety into intentional living.
Our signature coaching program unfolds over six private sessions across three months, allowing space for integration and reflection between meetings. Investment begins at £900.
